Description

We are the community's nonprofit Hospice, providing end-of-life care and support for over 40 years. We serve Kootenai, Shoshone, Benewah, and South Bonner counties. We also have the only hospice inpatient unit, The Schneidmiller House, in Idaho. With a 6-acre campus in Coeur d'Alene, a Community Services Building, and a Hospice Thrift Store in Post Falls, we provide comfort, education, and support for the North Idaho community.

    • All medications and medical equipment related to hospice diagnosis (e.g., pain medications, beds, walkers, oxygen) are provided.

    • Support for families and community members after a loss, including non-reimbursed community bereavement programs.
  • Community Education
    • End-of-life care education and resources, including tools like advanced care planning and guidance on living wills or DNR forms.
  • Non-Discriminatory Care
    • Services provided to all patients regardless of age, financial circumstances, race, color, national origin, disability, or sex, with free language assistance services.
  • Campus Memorials and Reflection Spaces
    • A six-acre campus with dedication memorials, a lighted path, water features, and a Telephone of the Wind for those grieving loved ones.
